I'm looking to swap in an Allisport intercooler into my 300Tdi powered 110 that has A/C installed. It looks like Allisport makes 3 different sizes.

I know that in the AZ summertime (50 degrees) the full sized unit may create an engine cooling issue with it...

The most effective use of soundproofing I have done so far was placing Damplifier on the battery box cover and the cover over the fuel tank on my 90. It did more for noise suppression that insulating the doors or the bonnet.
Anybody have one of these in good shape that they are willing to part with and ship to the US or know where I might be able to purchase one? It needs to fit a 265/75r16 tire/wheel.

Not sure what brands they sell on your side of the Atlantic but any name brand should work well. I use Shell Rotella In my diesels and Castrol in my gas engines.
What weight oil do you have in the motor? Does it only happen when the engine is cold? I swapped mine out with a VDO sender (and added an oil pressure gauge) and it's not as fast to turn the light off as the LR sender was when the engine is cold but with a warm engine it goes out quickly.
That's exactly how I did mine.
Jacked it up
Removed the tyres
Dropped the frame onto the jack stands
Supported the axle with the jack
Removed the shock from the top mount
Lowered the axle
Did other side
Etc, etc, etc........
