I'm probably going to be visiting from the States while this is running. Is it worth making the trek out to see? Anything else in the area that is worth seeing?
Thanks all!

It's probably one of the better shows ...if you are up that way the heritage motor museum is only about an hour away at Gaydon - lots of vintage Landys plus an off road course plus you can book tickets to go on a tour of the Land Rover factory.

The final resting place of Princess Di is very close Althorpe house- it's a nice stately home to wander around.

Rugby school is only about 20 mins away and they do tours

Bletchley Park is not far if you enjoy wartime code breaking

If you wanted to go landing I'm sure some of us locals could arrange a trip out- it's very pretty this time of year .

I guess you need to give us an idea of what kind of things you find interesting so we could point you in the right direction

Yes its worth seeing, huge spectacular event...I doubt you will not get anything so LR related in the states so come see it. Northampton home of errrr SHOES! :) where Napoleon chose to shoe his armies from.

Yes it is, if you have never been there before its great as long as the weather is ok but if you have been a few times it tends to get a bit boring seeing the same stuff every year and if yo go to all the shows it gets very anoying looking at something you have seen at all the other shows year in year out ( used parts ) do miss the tyre fitting bay though not seen it there for a bit :)

I went last year and it was pretty good. The auto jumbles were a bit hit and miss and quite expensive but some great vehicles around and plenty of enthusiastic people to talk to.
