HELP!!! Electrickery Mystery

Hi boys and Girls,
My 110 has developed an electrical gremlin. Without warning the engine is either giving a judder and restarting or at lower speed cutting out completly, but she will restart straight away on the turn of the key. The first signs of trouble is the stereo cutting out and comes back then the engine starts to cut out.

I have checked all conections and I can't find anything. I've done a search on here and can't find anything

Odd. I'd start by checking the wire to the stop solonoid (chaffing, cleanliness, on good and tight) but do wonder if an ignition switch failure

Could try starting and then moving the key about in the barrel/giving the steering column area a decent thump to see if you can replicate the issue

Sounds like a ignition key or key wiring problem. Also check that the fuses are clean/tight.

Double check the negative battery cable attaching points. It sounds like a bad ground.
