Hi all, Thanks for the help with this, turned out it was a faulty MAP sensor, told i had to get new ECU, So i took one out of a car in the scrap yard, soldered it in and all has been great now for about 4 weeks.. Hope this might help someone one day!

Hi Fixed this at long last, Turned out to be a simple broken wire under drivers seat, cut and rejoined all is good and working as it should. Now i just have to work out why my rear window wont go down off the remote, works fine off switch just not remote

Sorry td5driver, I should have said its a 1999 with distributor cap. Its had new plugs, leads, cap and arm.

Hi all, My freelander has this problem that when its cold it ticks over fine, revs raised as should be for cold start.. When i try to press the pedal to pull away the revs drop right off, can even stall sometimes. If i get the revs above 2000 its then ok to drive.... this problem only lasts...
