Really hope that someone may have a geat idea to help me out. Apart from the petrol and matches (am starting to think this way!!

My 1999 1.8 is not running right it has a fault which seems like a mis-fire between the rpm of 750 - 2000 after 200 rpm it is then fine. Worse when cold..
I have had this for about 3 months now and this is what i have done so far..
Had to change the engine (for other reasons) fault still here.
Changed so far;
New Plugs,new leads,new cap,new rotor arm, new coil,
Throttle Position Sensor changed, Idle air contrl valve changed, inlet manifold and new gasket fitted, injectors changed, air intake temp sensor changed.
Also tried from a friends working freelander, plugs, cap, arm, leads, injectors changed vacumm pipes.
I have a new lamda sensor coming tomorrow to try but now not sure what else to try?
Could it be the fuel pump? is there a way of testing this?
Any other ideas would be great.......really dont like being beaten by this car...
