Near the Back?....LHS (When looking from the top: Bonnet up?).....IF this is the case, there's a high chance its the Fuel Pressure Regulator. Cheap repair kits available....but its a bit of a nightmare getting to it... EDIT I used this guide when I did mine: http://www.discovery2.co.uk/Fpr.html

I wave at all Disco's, Defenders/Series...& even Freelanders (Having had a couple of them myself)... But there is a problem....I often get to drive different vehicles from work....& when I forget I'm not in one of my Disco's, I *DO* get odd looks from other Landy-drivers!.

Or indeed, a dieing starter motor would make the engine crank slowly, even with good batteries. I recently put a new starter-motor on & it now cranks faster than it ever has before, and starts REAL quick.

To be fair...when I was looking for a TD5 Disco, I was told by 2 different "LandRover specialist" dealers(2nd-hand landrover sales-people) that the TD5 was a BMW engine....:doh: Needless to say, I did NOT purchase from a specialist with that kind of knowledge.

I assumed they would be ok, as I fitted Silicon ones a couple of years ago....but I guess its worth-while takin'em off & double-checking....

After some advise on my '94 300tdi Disco, which is running real "Flat"....This started suddenly, after being dunked in gloop (sloppy mud on a pay'n'play" session) for a while. Fueling/turbo hasnt been touched, & I'd like to get the motor "Back to standard", before tweeking the pump etc...

I have a 2004 td5 Disco.... The Bluetooth thingy/App didnt work on mine, but dies on my gf's '13 Fiesta
