MikeyT, are you using / requiring a driver on your pwm? Just thought as you running the led's but also at high output? I didn't know if it was standard practice?

Im looking into making a similar lighting system for my landy, however I was thinking of making 4 x 30 W led spotlights possibly with these: 30W Cree XPE LED Emitter 30 Watts Light Warm White 3500lm Cold White 3900lm [BY-CR30W-WH] - US$17.99 : Topledlight
I can get the body machined ( although I'm interested in how you've mounted your led, straight on the alu or have you mounted it slightly off? ) but I'm unsure whether making these is a good idea or if I should just buy some halogens for the mo?? :fencing:
Thanks

100w LED !!!!!

I have 4 18W LED work lamps on my roof bar and thats like daylight, loads better than the 4 halogens i have before and a lot less current being drawn. They were less than £20 each as well :D

Nope rectangular ones
