Am replacing the fuel pump/sender unit thats located in the fuel tank, is there a trick to removing the big red locking ring without destroying it in the process. I dont want to but the 'special' LR tool just for this one little job

My 200 series disco V8 doesnt have any cup holders at all :doh: not very helpfull as i have to keep hydrated and my bottles keep rolling around the cabin. Does the 300 series have any cup holders i could get and fix into mine or has anyone made their own?

Im looking to start a new project build, a 200tdi Disco trayback with a full cage etc, mainly as a more comfortable alternative to a Defender i was thinking of a 200/300 tdi with an auto box, i know loads of V8's like mine come with an auto box but did many tdi's come with them?

Ive nearly finished making a custom rear bumper for my disco, before i paint it i want to weld on a pair of high lift jacking tubes to it, although i dont have a jack yet! What i need to know it what diameter tube is needed and how long should the tube be for the pin adaptor on a hi lift :D
