I'm doing a carb rebuild on my old scimitar and they don't make the original gaskets anymore, never needed to cut my own I've always used off the shelf stuff. So what's the best quality gasket material anyone has used?

The old girl is good for another year on the road, she only failed on a knackered rear seat belt mechanism but there was a spare rrc in the yard so we nicked one of that:D so she's now got 13 months mot. woop woop.

Heard a bit of an unusual noise from under the Disco in the last couple of days so just had a quick peek and saw this This donut has been on less than a year and not done many miles, I have HD suspension but this only lifts it by 1" so shouldn't affect it. What could have caused this? and...
