topped up and drove home and left it overnight....following morning going to work and at least 80 plus more miles and its back to normal...not slipping at all so it seems i need to change the slave cylinder....just glad its not a clutch fault:)
just noticed on my way home that i can make the clutch slip if i try etc....first time its been out for 2 weeks and it was fine before....checked the master cylinder level and it was nearly empty so obvoiusly they is a leak somewhere.
can this be the cause of the clutch slipping....the pedal is...
hiya....also on bbs like you mate...if its going to be used as a fun vehicle and not every day job then go for it....my series 3 which you can see pics on bbs is great to dive but very thirsty at 25mpg,
brilliant off road and great in snow too.....mine looks mint as a chap called spuddy who is...
prime the metal first but if possible use an etch primer on the welds first then prinmer all when dry...use your sealer with a stiff bristle brush soaked in thinners / spirit wipe as this will smooth the sealer out....any more advice then pm me.......proffesionel spray painter for 30 years:eek:
looking on ebay and found a pair of springs of a series 2a which are softer on the ride than my series 3 109 but not sure if they will fit.....they are 42.5 inches between the eyes if that will help
using deestones x tracs at minute and no problems at all just the normal tyre noise....these are great if i take it off road which is once a flood et so looking for a nice road tyre to put on a spare set off wheels etc.....what are the best....avon rangemasters or anything else please
as this is my first landy so to speak...its a 109 series 3 2 1/4 petrol with deestones xtrac tyres on around....bit noisey so i might put some road tyres on...just wondering as i potter along around 60 / 65 on the motorway is this pushing it...as they no rev counter am i close to the...
repainted all the wheels on my series 3 and i have 3 brand new deestones xtra track tyres and 3 x 3/4 worn michelin xtrac etc....untill funds build up i will put a deestone on for no but not sure where to uy them from in west yorkshire.....any help please
i think this only applies to regestered odyshops with an annual voc limit of 0.5 ton. as far as i can remember joe bloggs can still buy it from suppliers as he will never reach the limit,,,,
barrier coat is what i think you mean..not used it myself....synthetic is more forgiving as they is less solvent in it to react with the previous finish.....the fun starts when you have to recoat synthetic if it goes wrong:D:D:D
