air filter oil bath replacement?

Hi all, i'm fairly new to landies so bear with me if i seem abit green.

whilst doing abit of routine tweaking this aft and i noticed a small hole in the bottom of the oilbath on the air filter of my series 3 diesel. it turned out the entire bottom of it is rotten, and was being held together with all the crud it has amassed over the years.

The question is where can i get hold of the bottom of the oil bath? i can't seem to find them at any of the usual places- anybody got a spare i could buy?

where would you be located? I have a small tribe of oil baths living in the back o me shed, i'm sure they dont have holes in them either!!

I'm in sowerby bridge, west yorks (near halifax). Could i give you some $$$ for one plus postage if your too far for me to collect it? you would be really helping me out.

Or you could ditch it and replace it with a normal air filter from something or other?

i've seen the K&N stuff discussed here. They seem to divide opinion somewhat! Are there any other alternatives?

been told they is nothing wrong with the oil bath version....just cleaned all mine out and reoiled

K&N...IMHO you do not want an open ended filter, on a Land Rover, in the engine bay. I was more thinking something like an airbox from a Range Rover.
