Have you checked out the air mass meter unit ? Failing that, could be injector(s) ? Mine had a miss fire like splutter, which turned out to be teh injector loom, for the sake of £35 ish quid, may be worth changing anyway - dunno other than that !!

Sounds ok to me, I bought the puker LR S wiring kit, which runs all the way to the front, and has a couple of relays. The only thing I can think of is make sure the caravan battery cannot 'back feed' into the car battery, or when you start the engine it will draw curret from the caravan...

Mines clocked almost 141k from new (I'm the only owner) and still going as strong as ever :) :) :) (as mentioned further up the thread, maintenance, maintenance (especially the injun oil and filters) and don't over cook - I rarely exceed 3k rpm !!

6 would be good, even an auto . . . maybe TATA will come up with one, once they have a few billion of free dosh to splash !!!!

Hi, have had EXACTLY the same problem, I tried tapping the holes out, but only lasted until I next changed the filter. I ended up drilling through, and fitting nuts and bolts, bit of a fiddle now to undo - especially if hot !! but it works, and has saved shed loads of dosh for a replacement...
