Now, then. How-do

I'm lucky enough to have an '07 Defender as a kind of works motor, and beforer that, a works motor in the form of a commercial Discovery. I spent the first days of Defender familiarisation checking, am I in in low range? wondering if 55mph was all I would dare rev it to. Gradually, as the miles clocked up, I dared rev it a bit more. I think I've had 80 or so; standard wheels you see. I'm still changing out of fifth at a leisurely 45mph and hitting a blank after 13,000 miles.....oh for a sixth speed! Every standard Defender must cry out for one.

6 would be good, even an auto . . . maybe TATA will come up with one, once they have a few billion of free dosh to splash !!!!
