Tightening the belt might do the job or a new belt may be required, forcing the steering at full lock puts a lot of strain on the pump.

No mater what it's called if it was fitted with one from new it has to have one for the test, I think most testers will be turning a blind eye but you never know. Most people refer to the particulate filter as a cat. :)

Well unless it's been changed if a diesel vehicle was fitted with a particulate filter from new it requires one for the test. :)

Don't forget it's part of the MOT now. ;)

Using the wet and dry wet gives a far better job and lasts longer, using it dry it clogs up very quickly.

I wave at anyone I know regardless of what they're driving. :)
