12 bolts (you've removed 2 already)

Brake lines in front inner wings and under boot floor.

Clutch pipe

Hand brake cable

And a couple of earth leads.

Quite a big job bit doable, even easier if you happen to have a friend with a HIAB that can lift the body off for you.

it will make you feel better about yours ;)
Its not "that bad" :D

You should have been there when I was dismantling mine, the burnt out wiring loom on top of all the rust was a challenge, luckily I was self loathing and felt I needed punished for my sins :p

6yrs on and several thousands of £££ in I can't stand the idea of not having a hobby truck to tinker with

Problem is space! I actually do have a car sized space next to my car but the beds still raised shingled so if I could manoevre the chassis I could put on there. Think it's a bit much though!

You'e nailed it on the head. It is a hobby for me. The purpose of it was to learn new skills in something i enjoy and create something. Doing house stuff is ok but it doesn't have an engine so doesn't really keep me entertained lol

What about some f@ck off axle stands to just lift the body enough for full access?

Two coats of electrox on prepped area. Think I'll leave 24hr key it then put another on. This stuffs awesome. Hopefully it sticks nicely. Keyed with wet n dry after final wire brushing to aid adhesion

I got far more done today. I try to only be grinder noisy at weekends and just use drill and brushes weekday evenings. Flappy wheel ripped through remaining bits. Can't get at rear until cross member comes out but got nearly all of top and inerrs done back to tubular member. I think I may stick her on stands tomorrow and start the sides and crevices plus underneath. I need to make up a new cradle bracket. You think 3mm will be thick enough? I'l measure it' thickness then will cad up a replacement!
