Today I've been repairing and tarting up my exhaust.

I don't mind if the repairs don't last a long time, only enough for an MOT and then enough time for me to get a full stainless system.

Sorted! Just got to put it back on...

And get the patio clean :D:D

Put auto box sump back together, inc, filter, pick up and seals after a dropped front prop destroyed it all, only to find a new problem, window switch pack failure....... Jeeesh! its just as well I love my green goddess lol

If a bust parking sensor wiring. I didn't realise that a broken wire on the reversing sensor would also knock out from sensors too. Quick fix and now they all work.

Some minor fixes and changed all bushes on the front end with polybush blue ones.
Back end is following next weekend and also new airsprings.
Peter

I eventually fitted the new tyres & 18 inch wheels I got before xmas. Also checked the P38 over before it goes for it's MOT on Tuesday. (where the feck is the fingers crossed smiley?)

Well I washed my new toy and boy did she need it! Looks prity smart now even tho I do say so meself lol

I gave in to temptation and got a nudge bar plus genuine LR driving lamps (plus fitting kits) off the Bay for 100 of my British Pounds. A bit more than I wanted to pay but sack it. Should be able it fit it when I get off base next month.

Side exit exhaust.
Straight forward job having sourced new pipe bend from Poland cheaper than one down the road.
The exhaust pipe connector off fleabay disappointing but two new u clamps sorted it out.
Have to say really like the tidy look and enhanced v8 burble.
Not so much for off roading as green lanes would be my lot as the extreme stuff my mates disco is better cos i got shoulder injury so he can drive ill watch from passenger seat.
The chequer plate end piece looks good, purposeful and the rear of truck definitely improved on looks.
Not doing a lot to this one just change worn out steering wheel and tidy cosmetically till fit enough to do more.
Oh and just had new starter motor with new alternator and battery to follow next week.

After 18 months decided to find out why the tyre well was full of water and followed the service bulletin released in 1998 for the fix, spent pretty much all day faffing around with it as did not fancy the idea of drilling holes as some advise . done a hose test as could not wait for rain and so far looking good.

Water in the rangie is a BIG no no

Where would I find this bulletin John as I had some water in my tyre well. Checked the rubber seals and they look ok
