Oh well, 2 months of ownership without an issue is good for a Range Rover in my experience. Anyway the airbag light came on today, I plugged my shiny new iCarsoft lr v3.0 in and it came up with B0028 13 Right side Air bag deployment circuit. A Google search seems to suggest that it might be a faulty connector under the seat. Rather than fumbling around in the dark I wondered if anyone has experience of this fault.
Any advice welcome
Thanks
Pete

Under seat SRS connector problems are common on the P38 so it seems like a good place to start.

Thanks Datatek. As you say, that seems to be the place to start. Unfortunately there's not room to slide a fag paper under there so I'll take the bolts out and tilt the seat back, if it ever stops raining. Suppose I'd better hire a crane to remove the spare wheel and disconnect the battery if I'm messing with air bag wires....but then if the ignition is off? Whatdya think??

It's always best to disconnect the battery and wait at least 10 minutes before working on the SRS, a face full of airbag is not a pleasant experience.

Now I'm wondering if I need to disconnect the stop start Battery as well. I suppose it wouldn't hurt. My mate has a Jag XF with the same engine as mine and to disconnect his battery the procedure is to open the door and the boot lid, hide the remotes indoors somewhere then wait 35 mins till it all shuts down before disconnecting the negative terminal. Do you think that would apply to L405 as well?

Sorry, I have no idea, never even seen a L405 close up.
