Myself i find gas better. If you go for the gas welder i would use co2 and argon mixed gas as i find it a nicer weld.

If you have been in the trade for a bit you should be able do it, just take your time doing it. But sure someone on here may help, i fitted lpg to my v8 disco myself. But i had put it on a vauxhall frontera too but had from me father.

Easy job front ones bit of a #### cause of fuel pump. But can also be done with manifold on.
