    RUSTOLEUM

Yes, i like the rustoleum stuff. We do an upgrade from it, but if you are on a budget its good. We do the s2 primer, a toughened glass satin black, gloss black, and chassis grey. DO NOT use any of those so called "rust converters" with our coatings though, as the coatings have something far...

    Aaron's 90 rebuild (round 3)

Aaron, when you rebuild your axles, consider using this... You don't need much to do everything including the swivels and bearings, but it will stop the corrosion that you have seen in the axles you have been dismantling.. http://buzzweld.com/t/maintenance

    dinitrol on top of waxoyl

Bilthamber promote that test because they probably won it? They do their own cavity wax here http://www.bilthamber.com/cavity-waxes Their cavity wax still lacks one of the most important features a cavity wax should have. Coverage. When you spray a cavity wax in to a void, even with a lance...

    Powder Coating D2 Axles

i wouldnt say axles being powder coated is the best idea. similar to powder coating a chassis. might look nice to start with though.

    etching primer

are we talking primer you would use on the chassis, or primer for automiotive top coats? our primer has been on a crane, not overcoated for the last 18 years, and still good. but its not the ideal primer for finished panels etc, unless you like terracotta?

    Defender Auto

Few tips Rotate the selector cable bracket 180 degrees on yen rear mount prior to figments, and drill a 10+ mm hole in the the webbing under the lt230 selector to run the cable through. Remove the cable from the selector housing (four screws to take the side off). This will put the shifter...

    Defender Auto

I have done this to my 110. I went from lt77/ 200 to 300/4hp22 You have had good advice here. Avoid the disco t/box. The 4hp22 lockup and 4th is similar to a v8, so too tall for a defender. Also, the standard cooler lines are too long. And IMO too restrictive. Purchase a 30 row oil cooler...
