If you want mine you can have it!
I got one same as the second one in the link (13000lb one).....
Lets just say the former owner bought and fitted it, and it has never worked since I've had the RRC...it is just ballast on the front. motor is crap, solenoid box looks like lego inside...only rusty and fooked!
I had thought about buying a replacement box for it...but it just aint worth it. too many other things wrong with it.
Personally I think you'd be better off with a hand operated winch

Ok i take the point but i do not want to spend over a grand for somethig that might get used three times a year.

I agree with you there. If you buy 4 cheap 13000lb winches and break one a year, you're still better off than a warn. Mate of mine payed £60 for a 12000lb winch 5 years ago and it was used then. It's still going strong after towing full skips across the grass with no wheels on amongst other things.

iv got 2 winch's on my 90 both from winch it on ebay about £260 each one iv had a year n half and the other 9 month, both great winch's for self recovery (not winch challenge) even when wet iv never had any problems

he just buys in bulk from china a container full at a time

whatever you do dont buy the winch ropes of him there feckin shiit
he had to replace 2 of mine after they failed i sold the 3rd one on and bought a marlow rope 3 times the price but it works

edited for accuracy:rolleyes:

what a great outlook you have you buy summit and expect it to break:eek:

why not buy summit that wont break in the 1st place

In everyday use we find that warn winches wear out long before Superwinch winches do. We have a hydraulic warn winch on one of our 14 ton trucks that is cream crackered after less than 6 months. It's the third warn winch on that truck (56 plate) and the truck is rarely used as it's the assitant managers truck. It only has summit like 80,000km on it.
