Got the new one tacked on today, mig regulator packed up, then the stick welder seized so gave up!

Its a 1993 L reg 110, very tidy chassis rails, old member cut off easily with a sawzall and grinder, new one fitted a treat with some tweaks.

So what would you consider a fair price for labour only, as the guy has supplied all the parts bar a few slitting discs and flap discs.
I said I had no idea and would ask what people consider fair?

+vat if they do bank transfer or card payment.

i base that on the hourly rate a fabricator/welder mate quotes for ‘normal’ welding jobs (I.e arc or mig)

parts on top plus paint etc if needed are charged if he has to provide.
