Ok, since my accident has left me somewhat useless, I cannot get under her and take off the box(es) to change the rear crankshaft oil seal nor even the front one!
As I am waiting while the insurance wheels turn very slowly, I am broker than a broke broke person...
So, I challenged my solicitor to get them told that since they claim responsibility for my accident and all that goes with it, I want them to get my car repaired.
My mate who's never done one before, but is a competent mechanic, is happy to do the job. So anyone k now the time LR state to change front/rear oil seals? We figured around 850 quid at his prices.
Also, he (solicitor) wants a value of my car in case it exceeds the value of the work (Fuck off!!!!)
2000 THOR 4.0 Immaculate body, clean grey interior, 99k (new engine 15k ago) FSH up to & including last two as well as new LPG main parts & serviced. All new snow tyres (Nov 16) and all new summer tyres (June 16)... Yes, 9 wheels
Any idea of a value of the car then for insurance purposes. Ta
