I thought Slander was spoken and libel was written.

i concur with the gentleman above.

:welcome: piggy - yu will have seen that there is a peculiar form of humour on this forum, if yu have a thick skin, there is plenty of help - you just have to wade through a few posts to find it.
Although you may have been a bit surprised by the responses, how long has it taken you to find the answer? I suggest that if you post the same question on several other fora - you will be waiting a week to have any replies.

Its spoken and written, thats a fact! Think you should check your terminology, cock!!

I have made, run and sold a car forum for more money that most of you prob see in year and weather you believe me or not i couldnt care. But my point in saying that is i know whats good for a forum and what isnt and some of you are not especially with answers like at the beginning of the thread. Also, a thread like this does make good reading for the neutral member, something to spit there coffee out over the keyboard while reading lol

Lastly, and on a kind note i would like to wish you all a merry xmas and a happy new year for 2010! :)

Was it a website for the illiterate???:doh:

hopefully the spelling and grammar you used was better than that which you have exhibited on this forum:

weather (countable and uncountable; plural weathers)
  1. The short term state of the atmosphere at a specific time and place, including the temperature, humidity, cloud cover, precipitation, wind, etc.
  2. unpleasant or destructive atmospheric conditions, and its effects. Wooden garden furniture must be well oiled as it is continuously exposed to weather.
  3. (nautical) The windward side of a ship.
  4. (countable, figuratively) A situation.
whether
  1. Used to introduce an interrogative content clause (indirect question) that consists of multiple alternative possibilities, and indicate uncertainty between them; if. He chose the correct answer, but whether by luck or by skill I don't know, he's still a cock.
  2. Used to introduce a yes-or-no interrogative content clause (indirect question) that consists of a single possibility, and indicate uncertainty over it; if, whether or not. Do you know whether he's a complete cock?
  3. Used to introduce multiple alternative possibilities, and indicate the irrelevance of which is the case; regardless of whether, no matter whether. He's a complete cock, whether you like it or not.
