some old grey primer, the type of which i can't spell but is probably classed as a WMD these days - and a couple of coats of Frosts Chassis Black - the chassis innards are soon to be filled with black gooey anti rust stuff

had me new windscreen fitted yesterday afternoon £138 inc vat not bad when national winscreens wanted £195 als done a service and topped up me swivels with one shot as the old grease was weeping out of them ready for me mot now eek eek !!!

Today i have been mostly decovering that the clutch has gone (or the clutch arm) so spent £3.00 listing it on ebay
If the spare part aint in me garage or VERY cheap i sell em, sort of a mantra i live by (often called being a tight fooker)

rebuilt the dizzy without using a single new part... will it last I ask myself??

took the oil pump off tonite gonna check the cogs

got the timing pretty close tonight but getting false reading cos of the eggsauce.. so now I know what I'm doing will only take 5 minutes once your mate's sorted the manifold for me..

If you wanna have it done quick, drop the car off and run. He likes to talk a lot. We don't call him Billy Bull**** for nuffin.:doh: (by the way don't call him that cos you definately wont get any discount if ya do). The look on his face would be priceless though.

By the way, he's their MOT tester. As they don't really go into general repairs he might be good to take yer landy to in a years time.

I will remember that.. always worth going somewhere that doesn't wanna fail me just to get work out of it.. like brake discs or something..

well today i sorted out a hole in my sill and found 2 more lol its never ending lol

Looked at me steering damper.It aint got bushes on.The picture and discription seys it should have em.Might have to have another look tonight or kick up a stink on ebay.

too many holes in it to hold any water

land rover already thought of that

kwik fit tightened the nuts without replacing the knackered gasket on the eggsauce and filled up the aircon.. they're only charging me for the aircon though..
