Since I hit 110K miles on Disco Myrtle this past week, I finally changed out:
transfer box oil with Royal Purple 85W-140 gear oil (the same oil I use in my diffs),
air filter with ECOGARD XA5381,

engine oil filter with microGreen #MG421-1,

engine oil with Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 heavy duty synthetic diesel oil (even though I have a V8),

and added a magnetic engine oil drain plug M14-1.50 for a V8...

I also replaced the stock rear drop links with the Meyle's longer D2 front drop links due to the 3" lift...

Put it in for its MOT.... including blocked EGR feed pipe (so no recirculating exhaust gasses) and a de-cat pipe....

I had a bit of welding done on the chassis last week in preparation too.

It failed.... two ball joints, a track rod end oh and a wiper blade....! All sorted and passed for 12 and a half months!

No mention of EGR or missing cat!

Took the underbelly tray off and removed the wading plug from the bellhousing. To remove the underbelly tray Rave says to undo the ball joint taper on the drag link, but I got nowhere with that apart from scuffed knuckles. I managed to squeeze it under the crossmember in the end.

I bought a much needed Meyle #STC4378 V8 water pump for $48/£38.
I don't know how durable the paper gasket will be tho...
It will be okay if the all traces of the old gasket has been carefully removed, use grease on both sides of the gasket to keep it in place and don’t forget to use waterproof sealer on the threads of the three screws that pass through the blocks water jacket.
I replaced my water pump three years ago due to a failed bearing, still ok without any other issues.

Had to strip the electric park brake module on the D3 as it had locked on, access is difficult but the job itself went well, manually rewound it an relatched the cable.
All good

Broke it! Idler pulley bearing collapsed, threw the drive belt off and the crank pulley eat it. Cue lots of smoke, no power steering or brakes. Luckily I was close to a mates so it's sat in his garage awaiting a delivery from Paddocks.

Bought 6 new bulbs for the HVAC unit as I'm tired of pressing the wrong buttons ... It's only taken me 4 years to get around to replacing them and I remember why now... £33 !!

Installed the cruise control kit that my wife bought me for Christmas (used ebay purchase). Did you hear my sigh of relief today when I test drove it and all works as it should - phew!
