Bought my husband a soft top series 3 1972 for his midlife crisis birthday this year. Now looking for ideas for christmas £150 ish budget. Looking for advice on stuff like bucket seats as he is very tall and I've heard they can help with driving comfort but worried about fitting? any other ideas?:blabla:

already got a couple of spots on the front?
I'll give Kylie a run for her money any time...............

anyways, if he's tall, what he needs is a bukhead removal bar, some seat rails and a smaller steering wheel (all available from MUD UK).

dunno if they fit Series though? don't see why not.

my idea xmas prezzie fer me series would be a rubber drivers door so when i **** my elbow while turnin the wheel i dont shatter me elbow.....or a years pass to an osteopath

MUD seat rails and if you can stretch to it and he wouldn't mind removing the bulkhead then a bulkhead removal bar.

Actually I can't remember what usually goes wrong on those despite owning one for 4 years - it never worked often enough for anything to really break. The best accessory I would have fitted in between trying to get it started would be an interior light!

Now let's see,
if it were a Disco you'd need a welding kit.
if it were a RRC, you'd need a welding kit.
if it were a P38 you'd need a new engine and a multimeter
if it were a freelander you'd need, ummm, a 90.
If it were a Defender, you'd need ear defenders.
Can't think of anything for a series apart from a bulkhead removal bar for tall people but that's already been suggested. AA Membership?

That about right or have I missed some?

Guy
