what would you call it?. I call it a try on. You expect me to pay for a part that's rotted out. That really takes the biscuit? And I don't think it will play well in court!

I don't understand the repeated reference to 'very rusty cars' and guarantees. It has no bearing on this thread.

The thread is about a job done so poorly that it's arguably not been completed at all.

None, well not that I can think of.

I cannot understand how you can wash thoroughly, ( internally and externally) , inspect, wire wheel / brush , inspect, dry off, inspect again, and then waxoyl, internally and externally, check everything is done , redo the bits you missed, final check and sign off.

Even if all is good I can see it realistically taking 2 days at least for it to sit and dry out in good weather.

If not good, then it is time to take it away, cut out the rust and weld, then continue.

Have a look at the rusty 90 pictures, the cross member is not rusty, it is dead.

I did and it did not tell you anything except for look at the white patches, it was all talk no show.

Us mere minions, who do it ourselves, and I have to say could have done a better job than you did on that Hilux, use a pressure washer and then I personally use a wire wheel and brush to clear the rest follwoed by another pressure wash. TBH, having done 2 D2's for my Father this year, I would be embarrassed if he then looked at them and saw what the pictures showed on that Hilux, and I did not charge him a penny.

And your point is? Yes if a car has rot, the rotten part will disintegrate in a nanosecond with my pressure washer. Try doing that with a wire brush. Wire brush ha ha. You take the car away, get it welded and bring it back.

Good for you. I can tell you that your wire brush efforts and your pressure washer would have made no impression on the Hilux even if you worked on it for a week.

But you do not say that, you say in your bumff, that you will save the car from the knackers yard, you stated that in the case of this hilux.

Even the Moroccan 90, you did not give a warranty on, but on that you could not be bothered to remove the diff guard, half a job.

Frankly , your videos are pretty useless. IMHO.

How with your 1000W light did you miss the areas on the photos from the Hilux? having a bad day? tired from your powerwalking? could not be bothered?
