Hi, can I use the viscous transfer box from a classic range rover on a 200tdi powered 110 without to many probs/mods?
will it make a lot of difference off road/on road
cheers Bruce

It will fit however I believe the propshafts are slightly different so you may need to mess with propshaft lengths. If its in GWO theyre good! fit and forget!

just front prop shaft is longer than lt230 prop, you would need rhs chassis mount too plus hi/lo mounting bracket and linkage

Aye!!

Was trying to do the same on a tight tyro course in the snow last Jan as there was only a couple of us up there not many entrants so we all had a go for the gel of it!! I had zero steering lock, silly big tyres and all axles locked upon thought id be clever knocking diff lock off and trying to pull the front end in tighter worked but after a few attempts thought better of it as visions of exploding centre diffs went through my mind!! Then we had some rwd fun with the freewheeling hubs engaged I think I got the 2 gate sideways. Lots of fun!!

I'd fit a viscous tranny box if I could get the ratio I liked for sure!!

Unfortuantly I don't have a center diff so no such fun for me, though having seen a few busted center diffs I wonder how long they will stand up to such abuse.

When they break it's time to bring out the mig welder!! For a comp motor anyway.

Looking for a straight bar for my series tranny box I know you used to get them not sure where tho!
