Hi there,

planning for my Spring service schedule on my 1997 110 300tdi and looking for advice on quantities and grades for oils for the gearbox (R380), transfer box and front and rear diffs.

can anyone provide this or links to websites where it might be recorded.

The R380 gearbox uses an MTF (or ATF).
There are lots of opinions on which one is best etc, and there maybe some differences, but I used Dexron III and it's worked fine for me in the last 2 D90's i've owned.

In the transfer box and diffs I use a standard (smells like cats piss) 80W90 mineral oil.
