Normal ngk will be fine but don't use champion they are not worth a ****. But plantium will be better. Is he having problems or just curious?

Champion's supplied by Keith Gott, engine was designed for them. had them in 3kMiles now, no issues atall.

You may swear by champion plugs but have you ever tried ngk? You won't go back champion is a gamble weather they all work. You must of been lucky to get all 8 working

Thanx for all the interest, my friend has trouble when its damp. He says it starts fine, then as the temp starts to rise it runs like cack for about 2 mile,s, then its ok. It only happens when its wet, other than that its champion, got me bolloxed !
cheers

i use champion plugs, as recommended in haynes manual

i heard the engine was designed for them also, so thought they'd be nice for it :)

and i havent had an issue yet...

so who knows!

i did break a champion once and had to fit an ngk as an emergency spare, and it still felt the same :D

i only use split fire platinum plugs very expensive and yes i did notice a hugh difference smoother idle and the co% dropped down when tested 4 years on and 25,000 miles and still good they are warranted for 100,000 miles but will be changing next year.
have fitted them to a customer d2 with my exocet engine and gas no problems at all
