I got a G clamp he can borrow but I think he already as one?

unfortunately a 6" G clamp aint really man enuf, and a lack of circlip pliers dint help .
Spent an hour or so listening to a rather sick (lumpy) injun - doesnt appear to be any vacuum advane working. The vacuum advance unit rocks up & down, but doesnt alter the position of the rotor arm. Needs someone that knows 3.9's to look at it, I think.

got a manual that covers that too lol . but the advance unit doesnt move te rotor arm , it alters the position of the points/pick ups on the base plate
. ( The rotor arm sits on a solid shaft ) .

back off me hols now.. after you left I got the call you set up for me MHM and established that my first diagnosis was the right one but the wrong way round.. the cat is blocked but it is the hot one that's blocked not the cold one.. so if we had undone that one then theoretically would have got a smoother running lump.. so back to plan a then and off to an engineer for some cutting and welding as soon as poss..
in the meantime the UJ's are still sat on the dining table while I wait to get some time to do them.. probably a year or two after I retire..
yes ratty I'm missing one button off my stereo and the rest fall out if I go over speedbump too far or slam a door..

I have the landrover stereo from my defender if you want it? Dunno what model it is but part of the facia is detachable. I don't know if it's coded or not but I can give you my reg and chassis number if it is.
