Whyu not lightening up and remembering what forum you're on? Whyu not know that calling a long time member "smart arse" will win you little cooperation from other senior members? Whyu not just leaving if you hate forums?

Ha stop being a cock tis not a question of whos senior that ****s for the jeep forum

I am more than happy to help those that try and help themselves, but sitting there just saying "tell me the answers" dont work.

here's another clue....
"Have a look here to see if you can solve questions that you might have."

just to mediate..... although it does seem apparently obvious to most of the regulars that almost everything has been covered at some point this site can be quite confusing to a lot of newcomers, sorry to sound a spazzy but I seriously dont know where FAQ is? (I have a shortcut on my PC that basically puts me on this one discovery sub section and thats all I use) you will probably now mock me and show me how blatantly obvious it is but as im not really computery to start with I must admit I sometimes struggle to find very obvious answers to some of my questions, And I consider myself a "regular".

On the other hand, giving **** to people that can help you normally doesnt end with the answers you have set out to get the answers for, It does sound a bit clicky but Ive found the best plan is normally to just roll with it and dont take offence, most of the time they are having a laugh.

Imagine going into a pub full of clicky know it alls and asking a question they all think is blatantly obvious, You will get ****, and ****taking, but if you take it on the chin they will come round and be really nice helpfull blokes and come out with the solution, if you bite and give them **** back they will basically tell you to go **** yourself, and think your an idiot.

So my advice would be: Regulars show a little more understanding to the newbies and newbies dont take everything so seriously (you cant do you own a Landy so you must have a sense of humour!) or you can all tell me to go **** myself.

All that after a skinfull of whiskey and beer, who says alcohol is bad for society....

Well I had a look the other day and couldn't find it but knew it was me not the info I was getting from another member. Had another look and found it straight away. It ****es me off when someone comes on a forum and after five minutes mouths off because the forum won't bend to their will.

Landyzone is a big forum full of limitless information and yes it can be clicky but so what, have something good to say and you will be listened to and yes, ask a silly question and you will have the **** ripped out of you, but then again if you own a land rover you should already have a sense of humour.

At the end of the day I appreciate guys spending their time helping me out and I hopefully return the favour when I answer questions. 50k posts compared to 22, no contest - shut up or **** off.

You are absolutely spot on pal, some of us just need a little more help than the others (me included!) they shouldnt get ****ed off when it doesnt all go thier way, like I say take it on the chin and get on with it. Perceverence is often the key.

When I say clicky please dont take offence there is definately some sort of "commoradere" between us the older members and with newbies as is to be expected, and we do pick on em a bit. maybe just a bad choice of word?

Without this forum I very much doubt I would own my disco right now and it is a great source of info and a great way to spend some of my evenings chatting to you guys but its not a bloody contest, its fun.

Dont take life so seriously, its not worth it:D

I agree. Personally I too would not be where I am without Landyzone lads.

The enthusiasm I have gained from everyone is very supportive and I do include newbies too. I have no time for people who won't help themselves.

All of the above is why I spend a lot of time omy thread to help give something back and hopefully let the people who have helped me know where their ideas and knowledge has led me.

Big thanks to Mr Noisy, wiltshireMan, discopol, disco mark, jamesmartin, GummyBear and Matt Baxter plus the others who have all helped me along the way by advice and **** taking encouragement.

Cheers
