Tyres which ones are best

Hi all,
My 300TDi is due for a new set of shoes.
What I would like to know is, to you guy and girls that have Discos WITHOUT ABS, which All Terrain Tyres stop best on Tarmac in the wet as I have had a few brown trouser moments trying to stop. Currently I have 205 r 16 AT Khumo's which are hopeless in the wet and useless off road.
Could anyone recomend a good set of 235 All Terrains.

hi fella i have a disco my tyre sizes are 235/70/16 i have just put a set of cooper discoverers st on they hold the road brilliantly and they perform well off road aswell have a look at tyrespec.co.uk

I have General Grabber UHP 255/65/16,s on my Disco.

They are extremely compotent on the road, and although they are not really meant for off road use, I was more than impressed with how they hauled the vehicle across my brothers sodden, boggy farm.

I was thinking of replacing them with some AT ones, but the UHP,s have got through worse than I would normally go on.

I have a set of Goodyear Eagle GT+4 on my Disco, but what a great tyre,
Handles great in the snow and on /off road, cost a little more, you can get them from e-tyres.co.uk, hope this helps

Hi there sonic, just been to e-tyres and to me they look really expensive.

So did t'other one, have a look at paddocks or in mags for deals
