Hi, i have a freelander TD4 on an 03 plate. The tyres i have on it at the moment are 215/65/R16, they could do with replacing soon and i'm after some AT tyres, probably the BF Goodrich AT's. problem is the closest size avaiable is 215/70/R16. i'm sure i remember reading somewhere that these will fit but can any body confirm this please before i go and buy them. I can't be doing with them catching round corners and over bumps, but i believe the profile is only slightly bigger so would i get away with it?
Thanks, chris.

If I were you, i would go for the General Grabber AT 215/65/16 and keep the size the same.

Just had 4 on mine and I love them.

What about the Michelin Latitude Cross? It's quite a new tyre. Don't know much about it apart from reading reviews on other sites. It is advertised as a third generation tyre better and quieter than Synchrones. I expect it to be expensive and have good wear characteristics. I am getting 40k+ from synchrones and looking for replacements. A slightly bigger section say 70 instead of 65 would mean higher gearing which would suit any chipped engine.

Might be worth checking?
