They trick the ECU as you say and thus can be removed prior to any servicing under warranty etc.

Most are simply plug and play, linking into the common rail diesel connection.
The exception to this are the 300tdi and the TD5 which are either soldered or screwed into the ECU (ECU dependant)

Unlike an ECU remap they cannot be overwritten by Land Rover during a service etc (very common)

You can also move it from vehicle to vehicle and still retain the Tunit warranty.
If you wish to move to a vehicle that is not compatible with the Tunit you have we also offer a px etc

Hi Alan,

Thanks for sending the TUNIT box. I got it very fast.
The problem is that there is no on here who knows how to fit it.

The ECU plug on mu Disco 1 1997 TDI 300 Auto, has ECU plug and the wiring all enclosed in plastic covers so tight that i can see the cable colors and pin connections. The instructions sent included with the TUNIT only talk about connecting to ECU plug pines by attaching to appropriate wires, but there is no way for the to see that.

Any advice? Do you have colors for the cables?

Thanks,

Mogindo
