Hi guys,
I'm going to make a few mods to my disco td5 including replacement pipes, front tubular bumper and tunit power module to increase the performance.
I've contacted Admiral - my current insurer, to make them aware of the modifications I was going to make. The lady on the phone said that they will happily include the first two mods into my insurance policy (at the cost of just over £40), but refused to add the chip/power box upgrade for my TD5 engine (as it increases the BHP
Obviously we're not talking about insuring the actual value of the mods, it's just to be all green when it comes to the validity of the policy itself as per the terms and conditions.
so my question is:
does anyone know an insurance company that would cover any sort of (SO COMMON!) chip/power upgrades as an acceptable Land Rover modification?
thanks in advance for the prompt replies
