Trying to post on the for sale section

HI,

I tried to creat a new thread on the far sale forum. When i click on the link to do so, it re-directs me to a page that says:

"cmcintosh, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. "

I followed the account activation link when i signed up to the website. Is there anything i need to do?

yes indeed, spam selling is frowned upon here. it is deemed appropriate for users to sell items only once they have been an active forum member for period of time and posts. this helps to reduce the amount of tat that may be advertised and sold by 1 hit wonders
