Trip meter

Hi all,
Got a 2006 td4 adventurer, and the trip meter keeps zeroing itself every few miles..not the end of the world you say, but any ideas ? have done a search and can't find anything! I suspect it may be something to do with the reset button

whilst driving or on start up?
if on start up could be the battery is fubar

Whilst driving...battery still turns over like new even in cold

I had this problem when my interior light fuse fused dont know if this could be the same problem for u mate

My fuse blew, hadn't noticed until the other day, thought it may have been due to leak through aerial. Didn't notice till i started searching that the clock was not working either. Changed the fuse and low and behold i am now up to 50 miles on my trip. Couldn't see any connection between the two items in the Haynes...Why did trip work at all ? Another Freebie Mystery!
