Torque concerter help

Hi all i am trying to find a second hand torque converter to fit my 300 tdi discovery but cant find one for love or money is there any other landrover/range rover ones that will fit such as a RR 2.5 dse any help to point me in the right direction would be great cheers.

Hi, as far as i know there are firms in UK where they rebuild them...or are they more expensive than a used one? .. e.g. RECRO , but there are others too

To be honest my torque converter is f#@ked the end locater snapped clean off so would prefer to get another but cant afford new but cheers anyway.

According to them(and they know their stuff) Ashcroft Transmissions - ZF4HP22 ... the P38 and the Td5 uses the same "small" TQ. Maybe that helps

So the one i have found from a range rover 2.5 dse should be fine for my discovery 1 300tdi? thanks so much for your help mate.
