just check its not running round from cooler pipes bit of a long shot ,when out check so see if t/c is wet as this would indicates seal cast pump housing is bolted through from other side if you need to do this chock box on end on hand brake drum and remove all the bolts in bell housing 17mm socket lift off bellhousing and pump housing maybe toghether ,dont destroy gasket if possible undo all pump bolts leave a few threads so you can tap bolts to release pump then remove bolts completely handy to mark with paint to put two parts back together,pump needs keeping the rght way round as run in together replace or silicone lightly were oring sits ,if doing seal behind it is a bush check it doesnt looked damaged as supports t/c in relation to seal
