I'm going to be putting a small tool kit together to keep in my landy for emergency's.

For reference ive got a 200TDi 90 1990

So far all I've got on a list to go in is..
Breaker bar 1/2"
27mm 1/2" socket
small can of WD40
Variety of screw drivers
Vise grips
Torch
Gloves
Jack, tow rope and shackles
Grease
Cuddly toy
Gaffer tape
Harsh language
Spare bulbs

I know I'll need a few spanners but I want to keep it light so what are the most commonly used spanners sizes on the above car?

Cheers.

fone?
oils?
greases?
jack?
tow ropes?
spare car?
cuddly toy?

Spare car I knew there would be something. :D

I've got a tub of grease too I forgot to mention. I've also got a tow rope and shackles and a jack.

I'll amend the list as I go.

Thanks.

Cant believe I forgot gaffer tape.

I might leave the hammer out for now. Harsh language should do the trick. :D

Should I just carry 8mm - 20mm spanners?

Also going to add spare bulbs.

9/16th propshaft tool, gets the props off if you break a diff/UJ.
Jump Leads and some extra lengths of electrical wiring, I have some with small croc clips on, absolutely invaluable for bodges to leccy stuff or testing for blown leccy stuff.
Large blanket, waterproof sheet, wellies, a BFO coat that's as warm as a warm thing on a cold night.

Thanks Paul that's a big help. :)

I've got a blanket and a snap-on rest mat

Needed a 110 yesterday Sean. I had 3 adults, a dog and bags in the back and my niece in the front. It was a bit cramped for them. :D

I think that's about everything guys. Thanks for your help. :)
