hi chaps, are we not going over the top here, is it not refreshing that in this pc world / nanny state you can still do idiotic things like this and the thought police do not give you a tug, he paid his money, he looks over 21, whats the problem, so a wheel brace could bury it self in his head.AS THE STICKER SAYS ONE LIFE LIVE IT. CHEERS

just read some of the comments on this thread...

I think most of you have missed on the best things of life....and taking risks.

How does it say? "one life, live it"?
but maybe some only use it cause its a pretty sticker..

lol

If you're gonna do it, dont film it.
I disagree, i found the footage amusing and lets face it, if you are going to spend 400 quid on a car and then end up wrecking it by performing a few offroad stunts then you can at least have consolation in the fact that some people might enjoy watching it.

me and mates had a £100 budget to buy a car. we then raced round a home made track on his farm. it ended on a mild banger racing and most cars (apart from the transit!!) died. ok, granted, private land. accident wise i am probably more likely to hurt myself badly crossing a road! it was fun and we had a blinding ay, weighed the cars in and made a profit. if i was on the astra forum they would be devistated we wrecked an astra GTE, i'm sure the vw forum would be gutted we wrecked a golf GTI, and the honda forum a prelude. they cost £100 each. who cares?! that disco was still a **** old disco work bugger all however you look at it! there are far better and more costly cars wrecked every day by people who struggle to drive on tarmac roads.

i think this tommy guy seems very childish, and being off piste is bad, but we have all done it in the name of fun. i bet he had the best day ever! we drowned a jeep. good car, but didn't want it so wanted to see how far it would go. towed it to the scrap yard and weighed it in for more than we paid for it the year previous. as far as being off piste and breaking the law. who drives over 70 on motorways. that is far more dangerous! get of your high horses and enjoy life a bit. (i would never go off piste, drive over the speed limit all that stuff) i think you all need to chill a bit. its not like he's a chav beating the **** out of someone for no reason. he's the 15 year old sneaking onto the army camp to build ramps for his bmx (which is what we used to do) just my 2 pence. steve

i must add, the towing out of the md hole was stupid, dangerous and shold not have happened. his response on youtube of 'should i have left him there then?' was yes, rather than destroy his landy or kill yourself. very silly.

O dont get me wrong, i've done far worse than that, but im not daft enough to post it on youtube, i get enough bad looks by the walkers on green lanes as it is, without giving them yet another excuse to point and flap (and im well behaved, think its the bright orange they dont like)

its like that one picture someone will have of you somewhere, where u look ur worst and if you ever did anything wrong thats the one the papers would use, if Mr Anal whose doing a report for the 'guardian or countryfile' stumbles across that vid, its just another reason for the anti 4x4 lobby to get on their perches

Are you this tommy character or are you in a sexual relationship with him?
You seem to be worshipping him like a love-struck teenager.
LOL no, just bored of seeing stupid old ****ers who seem to just go round the internet putting down anyone who is doing anything remotely foolish...... "oh my god, the whole world now hates 4x4 drivers and its all down to a minority of idiots who may or may not be on youtube" If people dont like you who gives a ****.

You are either tommy himself or you're the cameraman. Judging by your above statement my guess is that you're the cameraman.

The commentary by the cameraman on this one just says it all.

legened? More like bell end.
Tommy is a dick and i'd defo fight him/other usual internet warrior type empty threats.
Cant stand ilegal offraoders cos i worked on a landfill/earthworks site that got used like this(but by bikers). One sunday 3 generations went over there to scud about on there 250. Son goes for some big air with dad n gramps watching.
Gets it.
Sadly isnt on the bike when he lands though.
So hes lying there fittting, drowning in his own blood and generally regretting the new inch gap in the vertebrae in his neck.Dad n gramps are mildly perturbed by this and call ambulance.Ambulance has no idea where they are, or how to get acces to where they are (arse end of nowhere across very rough ground and no access gates open) so air ambulance is called.Same issues, no where to land, dunno where they are etc. Lands nearby (bout 1.5miles away) boys in green (or in this case orange) have to hot foot it with all there kit over afore mentioned rough ground. In the mean time gramps n dad try unsuccesfully to put juniors eyeball back in the socket, you know the one that hasnt popped.Anyway, long story short, paramedics can do anything, hes ****ed, theyve taken too long to get there, they got no way of getting him out-hes written off.
Few weeks later I rock up to work to find out theres a legal action against the company due to our site being insecure. We spent 50 quid a meter installing palisade fencing round our 174 hectare site which scrotes like the 3 generations above broke to get ilegal acces to our site. How do we get sued when we went open or operating or any thing to do with this?At the time in question i was 120 miles away hanging out the back of some bird (or wishing i was) but still have a legal case to face.
And jeeps are ****.

Overall, the sad thing to me is that we have given lots of "air time" to a bunch of individuals who are getting their kicks by adreneline, putting lives in danger and destruction.

I won't be contributing to this topic any further as it feeds their stupity, in my opinion.

Cheers
Dave

I honestly am not either and i do NOT know them. I can see i am in the minority here and have said my piece. Very sad story goonarmy, i think there have been a few very bad accidents at flappits too, dunno if they are rumours or truth though. I guess its all good fun untill someone gets hurt :(
