Right then guys (& grrl). Bin buying maps me, though according to Daft I can't bluddy read them. Got Explorers in the hope they'll be clearer than Landrangers. Namely 144 & 145. Dunt look to be much around Guildford on 145 (it is the 2007 map) unless I'm looking in the wrong place. Looks to be some interesting stuff to the South of B/stoke on 144 though (newest edition is 2005 so may have suffered from the NERC bill?)

I'll cross reference me Landrangers when I get home t'night cuz they cover a wider area. Anyone any thoughts, or more specific locations?

South of B/stoke more specifically:

Lane from Cliddesden to Winslade, join Winslade Lane . Byway off of Bushywarren Lane joins Kit lane, bit of tarmac to Bradley, join Oxdrove Way, joins Bullfield Lane, turns back as if by magic into Oxdrove Way, joins Dirty Lane (sounds fun!), joins Jennie Green Lane to near Medstead.

Could then head West to join another part of the Oxdrove Way heading back North back into the parish of Bradley.

Or from Medstead head North East to a few lanes heading back in the general direction of B/stoke-ish.

Any thoughts anyone?

without nowin wot yu is talkin aboot - it sounds good to me, Marcus - lets get the others to do all the travellin:D. As its close to us - do yu fancy goin out to do a recce - or wud that spoil the fun?

I fort if I gave that much detail you cud all find it using multimap & panning about a bit.

& nah, dunt want to spoil the fun, but you can go & have a shufty if yer scared! :D

I ain't far away, you can always call me if ya get stucked. I might come tow ya............fer a price!

Not suggesting that route cuz it's nearby. Happy to travel elsewhere, just looked like an interesting one frum the noo maps wot I got.

Dirty Lane.. Purrfect! You guys do the plannin', Adz and I will do the travellin'. If he's comin? Sounds like a fair deal to me!

Thas' the kiddies. Bit worried seeing them on Landranger scale that they might be hard surfaced? Thought the lane edges only appeared on the bigger scale maps er, cuz of the bigger scale.

Whaddaya reckon?

Actually Daft, if you go West of the last map you've posted to join The Oxdrove or Oxdrove Way (it seems to keep changing names) it follows a big loop North to the South of Preston Candover (if you see what I mean?)

Reckon there's a good 15km or so on byways & a good 25km or so trip from first to last!

If we've time or these are dissappointing, not far to the NE is a star shape of five lanes that meet oddly enuff at Five Lanes End (Mapledurwell/Up Nately area.....yes, it's a place not a slag!). Could do all of them too?

Daft, yer determined to get out there before the others. Shan't, it'll spoil it cuz we'll only go & drive the lot!

Any road up, bin studying the map in detail, part of the Oxdrove has been done by the NERC bill I reckon. That said, we can do part of it & there are still some interesting looking lanes heading North again.

Excited now! :D

Dun't you DARE do a recky first!!! You's gotta wait fer US!! We does it all together. Hopefully theres sum more 'troughs' of water wiff big drops n mud n pond weed!! Wooohoooo!!!!
