Last Week I went to my Local Dealer to pick up a couple of things and had the chance to look over the L405....

hmmmm - Still not convinced...the interior looks OK, but the exterior styling is bland, unimaginative and not appealing....

I know people aren't keen on the L322, but the L405 is just too 'boring' to look at.

Like the interior finish but are they aiming at the chauffeur driven market with the rear centre console?...not too practical for larger families.

I'm really into it. Sat in one at Riders Land Rover- It's a really nice place to be. The tdv8 powerplants are something else...bloddy amazing. Although the price of £95k did make me choke slightly!

Is this the one with a separate aluminium chassis? I read a write up in the press about one in development. Going away from monocoque construction I understand.

I think it looks awesome, want one!! The guy in the bottom left of the photo needs to lose the pony tail! :)

may be the guy with the pony tail doesn't know he has it his barber might have took the **** and just left a bit for a laugh. on the car I saw one in middlesbrough just before xmas I quite like it ,just thinking somone has just ordered the one I'll buy in 7 years for a fraction of the £90k.

My mate builds them at JLR. They are ment to be brilliant, all aluminium so should last the 40 years the classics have, providing the computers don't give in..
They are working on the new sport but not made a prototype yet.

there's some pics floating about of a camoflaged sport floating around somewhere there's defiantely a prototype

id love a new rangie, i really like the new design :) a farmer i went to do a job for has had 11 range rovers and is one of the first in the country to get one hes been on the waiting list over a year, before it was even seen :O

I can't wait to have Press Car available in Japan... I am totally in love in the MKIV. To bo honest I never have been disappointed by the look of any Range Rover, Give (in mint condition) me an MKI or MKII, MKIII or MKIV and I am a happy man. Still I whish I could afford the £90,000 of the entry level L405 in Japan.

Aluminium corrodes even faster than steel if not adequately protected.:)

I think it's a stunner and I'd certainly be straight down the local LR dealer to order one if I won the lottery :)
