Thank you to everyone!!
Hey Guys
Just wanted to let you know that the Freelander sold yesterday! Literally was the hardest thing ever watching the new owner drive it away, as I think everyone on here knows that when you put so much time, money, thought & passion, into making your Landy just how you want it, the thought of parting with it, is pretty tough!
Thankfully the lady whose taken it seemed to be one of us ( which made the whole thing far easier!! )
I wanted to write and put this up, to say thank you to everyone on here, whose contributed to various posts, put comments up, sent messages, about various things i've wanted to ask, questions i've had, little worries and niggles that have driven me crazy, and for the advice and support that I've had whilst i've been on here!
I think in years past, you would have waited to go back to the garage and ''asked the question'' about things you werent sure of, or hopefully ''knew someone'' who might know! Thanks to the site, there's a hell of alot of people who ''do know'' and it's like having ''one of those friends''. :hippie:
I've never been lucky enough to ''know a mechanic'' or have ''someone in the family'' who knows about cars, but through joining and being a part of the forum and community on here, it feels like I have. Made some great friends, and had some brilliant advice and support, so to everyone, just wanted to say a HUGE thank you!
Even though I haven't got a landy anymore, will still be on here as I love the forum, and will be saving now for one day in the future where I can have another again!!
PS - Thought i'd share with you one of my favourite pictures of her!! In Cornwall, with my surf board on the roof, definately her favourite place in the world and mine!!! Doing what she did best - along the cliff tops just about to go surfing!! :5bcheers2:
