TD5 90 Project

Thanks to Paul at landrover connectors he got me the throttle pot connector and the ecu pins out for next del del.
Connected a trailer light wire (7 core) to the throttle pot, then crimped ecu pins to the other end,
Removed the orginal wires for ECU plug and bobs yer mums live in lover.
Just used long nose pliers to crimp on the ECU females, not too bad if you used to it lol, cos i cant find my econosel crimp die etc
(7 wires at the throttle only 5 at the ecu, 2 are doubled up at throttle end.) Did not spot that when i ordered the 7 core cable, could have used 5.

VDO Rev counter / taco install, very simple.
Single signal wire from ECU, my black connector had a blanking grommet at pin 19, so even easier to do.
Used gold plated econoseal connector, and used purple oversized wire fed through same flexi conduit i used for the throttle to ecu bypass, then staight up into binnacle.
45mins job done, worst part is fighting the rubber flooring stuff that keeps wapping you in the face!

Lof Powerspec SMF / HD Clutch kit ( fork release bearing etc)
Pioneer braided HD clutch lines
LR Clutch master and slave.
So will have all new hydraulic lines brakes and clutch, shorted!

LOF Powerspec Clutch / Transfer Box new seals etc
I really wanted to do this myself, i have done everything else, and the only time anyone else touches it, its for an MOT inspection.
But alas i just don't have the lift yet, and my 3 slipped discs have conspired to say a resounding no way to axle stands and a engine hoist, so I am no longer in denial and have to accept it.
ho hum, ....
