So its time to renew / paint the passenger door, i did the drivers door a few years ago, was happy with the result.
Old one will be up for sale, soon just needs new steel lower frame bar as its rotten out, skin is tip top.

POWERFLEX Poly Hybrid Exhaust Hangers, usual rubber ones dont seem to last very long, so these are muchos betterer!
They are not rock hard like a poly bush.

OME new rear shocks ordered today...

My Henry has something similar but it’s welded to the chassis

Came like that unfortunately and is likely holding it together

Just popped the poly bushes in and gave the rings a dust of yellow enamel spray.

Just finished applying the heatshrink, genius idea from Gwyn, very happy with result (i used my Rothenbuger Mapp torch, more accurate than heat gun which takes all day, shock did not get hotter than it would in sunshine so all good.

Done and done, you know when yer gettting old when you need two hands and a half way grunt n rest to compress a new damper, at least dogs were pleased to see me under the truck they climb under and have a chill when im working.
Terrafookwits ones were welded to the pin, had to relief cut with grinder the inner metal sleeve they pulled off leaving the rubber top bushes behind, considering they had shrunk to a third of the size of the eye it was not difficult..
Road tested this morn, very happy muchos betterer. ordering the fronts n hd turrets next.

Dash/ reverse cam both 1920 x 1080P HD
Has tesla mode when parked so records front n rear, will be hard wired in, too hot today.
Night vision is superb, has audio as well, but considering my patient and very polite venacular when confronted with a dickhead motorist, i felt best to turn it off.
You can have the fwd cam on the screen, i will however have it on perm reverse view.
As you will know the defender rear view mirror just shows you the inside of your truck the a reflection of the front fooking about as much use as putin in a peacetalk.
If i select reverse the parking-cnut lines appear on the screen, again i dont think ill bother wiring that bit up either

New shoes.....hate the white writing, its coming straight off....well flip n reverse when i get a moment.

Yep anti corrosion!

Tyres flipped, no more shouty white lettering......Its not a fooking jeep.

Another delivery from the Welsh Valley's so thats my weekend mapped out then!
Upol Acid 8 Etch Primer then going with PAL116 Sunburst / Sunflower yellow same as OME shocks will hardley be seen etc.
But as I have said many times is damp as fook up here, makes Mordor and Dagobah look like a desert and it makes me feel betterer
