TD4 MPG + roveron MAF

hi all.

on my third td4, other 2 did about 40mpg on a run and about 30 mpg around town.

when i got my latest one i swapped the maf for a roveron item and one of his boxes.

now i get about 30 mpg ona run. performance is fine for a td4.

so what mpg do you get from your td4.

bout 38 mpg on motorways and yes about 28-30 bout town, not bad fer a 4x4 eh bryan. . . .un mines er auto

i am going to remove the roveron maf and put the original back on.

could be your maf is out of calibration in the higher end gain as oposed to the common lack of power at lower end,[that's what Ron's gizmo doe's ] corrects out of spec mafs, might be worth giving him a call ,he's very knowledgeable on the td4 problems, yes i go off road a lot wiff porky un muffin. . . .

i was getting 30
Cleaned out the EGR and bypassed it and fitted roverron and now get 34mpg every week

Oh an its an auto

i read another forum where someone had disconnected the egr valve. i am going to do that today.

I've got a 2003 TD4 manual and get average on mixed driving (work and back, etc) is 39mpg. Get 44-45mpg on a long run - As long as I stay under 80mph...

I've got an 02 TD4 an get bout 450 miles out of a tank full with short an long trips mixed in. Tend to keep speed below 80 as dont wont to push me luck and destroy ther bloomin thing....
