I am going to explore the innards of my diff to see if there is a worn bearing there.

Those who followed my previous posts will know of my attempts to get rid of a wobble on acceleration. This is my new direction having changed just about everything else.

So how difficult to open it up and change any bearings that might have worn?

Cheers

Freelaner thanks for this. I have done most things but never a diff so any help and advice is welcomed. I have a 3 leg puller and a very heavy vice but also access to a press.

Take some pic's for us. ;)

Yep I will if I do it - I need some time and good weather first - also got to wait for builders to finish work around my house. Gathering info first.

Can I check for wear without stripping it down?
