Should we have a unusual/modified vehicle sticky or separate forum? Would stop all the ebay threads from hi jacking the stolen forum and make it easier for the guys with the knowledge to trawl and give there considered opinion.

Might also be a good place for muppets like me to go and see if a car you are looking at is a possible ringer or not!

Has anyone got any objections to having just 1 sticky fred in the stolen forum for all dodgy ebay (or similar motors) to be posted on? The stolen section is getting taken over by what's going on on ebay rather than the missing vehicles.

I will move all the current ebay freds out of the stolen section and into general chat.

Any objections?

Hmm..think you need to be careful with the wording Ratty...theres a lot of suspicion flying around and some genuine sellers may get the hump if their landy ends up being slaughtered on a google search...

Having a seperate forum would mean we need to get it passed the site owners/admins cos they are the ones who create what we post in.:eek::D
 
i reckon a seperate sub forum as each vehicle involves a considerable amount of discussion and a seperate thread per vehicle would be most useful.
 
social group easy to set up with a sticky in general chat perhaps?
 
a bit of a heading at the top of the thread stating how and where to look for chassis numbers on the vehicles and a linky to the vosa site on this information and the rules on the hybrid points scheme would help a little

towards stopping people causeing arguments and the same old discussions again and again by asking such questions

would this be a valid good idea or not
 
and could it be called something inventive like the heinz 57 section

as most hybrids are made from bitsa this and bitsa that sort of a heinz 57 variety style

hope the mods dont think im taking the **** or anything :behind sofa:
 
I think we need a thread per vehicle. That way the discussion of that particular vehicle can take place. One thread would end up a mess.
